Today was deadlifts day. I did progressive weight/reps. Stopped at 115 lbs cuz I could not keep my form.
Walked about 6 miles total, not all at once. Not feeling 100% today either. Tomorrow is another day!

I work with a trainer once a week at a gym. It's not a crossfit gym, but more of a weight lifter's gym. There are no classrooms and few cardio machines. Lots of free weights. He's been good for me coming back from a partially torn rotator cuff and knee injury. His focus is on functional fitness, cardio conditioning and proper form above all. I honestly could have lifted more, but I was definitely not able to keep my form. By the time we got to 115, I had lifted the bar 10x, 55# x 10, 60# x 10, 85# x 7, 95 x 5, 105 x 3, 110 x 3, and finally 115 x 3. Hope that makes sense.
i study Gods word tirelessly and i wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers....
and i go 2 the gym three times a week....

I can do approximately one rep with that weight.
I tried touching the rim on a basketball hoop a few days ago. I succeeded with an inch to spare. I used to be able to do that when I was in my teens. I'm 6'2.5" but I still need a vertical jump of over 20 inches to accomplish that. So I can still do that, at almost 200 pounds. My weight lifting and a bit of explosive calf training does the trick.
