World's most insecure man booted from flight after bragging about income, '20/20 vision'

Air travel can be hell. You're packed into shrinking airline seats like sardines in a tin and forced to endure strange air pressure and temperature changes while cheek to cheek with hundreds of strangers — some of whom are statistically likely to be thin-skinned a--holes, the kind of a--holes who are willing to throw a flight-delaying tantrum at a moment's notice.

We know this. And yet, nothing could prepare travelers for being seated next to a fellow I will refer to as the Most Insecure Man In The World, or "MIMITW," who delayed a recent JetBlue flight to Sacramento by causing a massive scene in which he feuded with fellow passengers and bragged desperately about his wealth and accomplishments before being kicked off the plane.

It's unclear what preceded the beginning of the video, but it's clear from the get-go when he tells a fellow passenger to "eat s--t and die, I wasn't f---ing talking to you" that the MIMITW is a real joy to be around. We then see him get into an extended argument with a guy seated across the aisle from him, loudly and repeatedly listing the reasons why he's definitely not "a loser."

Methinks the douchelord doth protest too much.

People can be heard telling the MIMITW to sit down so the flight can take off, but he's not having it. He then reacts negatively to being called a "nerd" saying,

"NERD? Look at yourself, sir..Mr. Bald...Can't Grow A Set of Hair.

I'm 28 and I make four million dollars a year. What do you do?"

Someone yells "He's in finance bro!" and the man arguing with our insecure hero groans "Thank you for ruining my trip, again."

The zero-confidence man continues berating the point, telling his fellow passengers,

    "He said I'm a loser so I proved that I wasn't. You're right, I'm a loser, I own six houses."

When he's finally removed from the flight, the MIMITW appears to zero in on the woman filming him saying, "I do not sign any disclaimer for this to be released so I will be filing a lawsuit," to which she replies "Go ahead Jay Z. Bye Felicia!"

Things get truly bizarre when the MIMITW begins bragging about his supposedly genius level IQ of 176 and his "20/20 vision" to the unimpressed and deeply annoyed crowd of thwarted vacationers.

IQ tests are of questionable value, but, for perspective, a "genius" is defined as someone with an IQ of 140 or more. Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking clock in with IQs of 160, or 16 points short of this nimrod.

Insecurity this extreme is painful to witness. Let's hope the MIMITW, who clings to his phone like a security blanket throughout, finds a grain of self-confidence on which to rebuild his life.

    And a follow up:

The man works at a mortgage company, and despite bragging that he makes four million dollars a year, he now admits he earns nowhere near that amount, nor does he own six homes.

"I'm standing up for my mistakes. I'm not blaming anybody but myself for the actions," he said in a public apology.

Bracket claims he suffers from PTSD after being injured in a bad motorcycle accident. He was tested for alcohol on the scene but was found to be under the legal limit. He was not charged.
