I'm from the Detroit area, and still legally a resident of Michigan, just living in Broken Arrow until I finish school, or maybe a little longer after that.

I wasn't ready either for it either. It kind of snuck up on us didn't it?
After started this thread I noticed you had been on a bit earlier, so I thought all was well. I'm glad it missed you!
The City was on the far west side of all the weather warnings but I wasn't expecting any tornadoes. We didn't even get any rain!

Tulsa was hit, but from what I read, the tornado may have gone north of Val.
I am really weary of the tornadoes and storms. We try to keep the backpacks ready to go, but I've taken the clothes out of mine over the winter and need to restock. I've lived here all my life and am not really fearful of the storms. Last year we had the flood damage and then some exterior damage in years past a time or two. This park has flooded twice in the 13 years we have lived here.
Ok, whine over.
You're right Curly. It didn't reach our area, it hit Northwest Tulsa, then traveled through Owasso, Catoosa, Turly, and the surrounding cities.

We used to travel to Tulsa a lot so we know it pretty well but we haven't been there is several years now.

We had heavy rain, and bad thunderstorms for a few hours during the early morning, and part of he day & evening. But it calmed down a little before 7pm. Thank the Lord. It was kind of scary for a minute.
