I tried telling Calvinists that God saves nonelect people like me but they weren't inclined to listening to that.

So they were telling you you could not have been one of the chosen ones since you did not believe like them?
Sounds kinda freaky deaky to me. I doubt very seriously I could get along with people like that.
I take they reject the Great Commission, right?

They tended to believe that I was also one of the Elect, just not one that was particularly true to scripture (= John Calvin). One guy, I think he was just trolling a bit for fun, claimed that a Calvinist who believed that a non-Calvinist could be saved was not saved himself. Talk about zeal. The other Calvinists thought that was a bit much.

OK, so what did you do to get banned from church?
And, how did they prevent you from attending services?

Yes I have been booted off a few. Charisma was my first, no warnings just banned. Emailed the mods several times with no reply. I even emailed Strang Communications with no response. They shut down Charisma soon after. I was also banned from a small forum because the owner hated divorced people, that forum closed also. I have been temporarily been banned from another small forum because if you disagree with the owners position he calls you nuts, crazy, or other insulting names. It is not very Christ like to do that IMO. Usually I speak my peace, although I don't debate like I once did, not worth the time or energy, and mostly people don't want a true debate, they want to make others look bad. A true debate is respectful, calm, and both sides truly listen and learn, this rarely happens on the net.

We like debate around here. So uhhhh...might we know you under a different user name?

No, I discovered house church as a place of healing and growth after experiencing a couple of abusive pastors and their supporters. So I house churched my way out of trouble. Not trouble I caused, but trouble caused by others.
