Is it possible to not have the faith involved in the shield of faith ? Is it possible to not take the shield of faith so as to extinguish the flaming arrows ? Is this area of faith automatic and something one does not need to act upon ? Should we view any level of satanic attacks over any amount of time as "just the way things are, learn to live with it" ?

Except when people with hidden sin lay hands on us, that gives the devil access. Every Charismatic who relies on tons of experience knows that they have given the devil this right. The Bible doesnt but there are things that are more weighty than the Bible.

You see, I and especially "we" are so smart, wise and knowledgable that when we gain enough momentum, our truth trumps anything and that includes the Bible. Especially when we are not being taught by the Holy Spirit on practical matters but rather by watching the devil at work. Some believers will have more of these encounters than others due to their calling in spiritual warfare etc. I assume she has a strong group who intercede for each other and keep each other accountable. She also needs times of rest and 'normal' stuff to balance out the spiritual encounters.

The deeper into the water one goes the more they must rely on supernatural preservation, IMHO. Sounds like she was given an opportunity to step to a new level of faith in her authority..possibly preparing her for something..every level bring a new level of temptation to prepare for the next one..
