It would be great if the blood moons came to pass.....since it would signify the return of Christ and I am all for that
At present the evidence imo is unconvincing but it doesn't mean I don't want it to be true

I found this site on tetrads :
http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/LEcat5/LE2001-2100.html
When four consecutive lunar eclipses are all total eclipses, the group is known as a tetrad. The following tetrads occur during this century:
1. Tetrad: 2003 - 2004
2. Tetrad: 2014 - 2015
3. Tetrad: 2032 - 2033
4. Tetrad: 2043 - 2044
5. Tetrad: 2050 - 2051
6. Tetrad: 2061 - 2062
7. Tetrad: 2072 - 2073
8. Tetrad: 2090 - 2091
Which implies that there is one roughly every 12 years. I'm not sure why the 2003-2004 one isn't in the other list, is that because they don't all fall on Jewish holy days ?
I think there are a couple of things we need to keep in mind:
1. The term "blood moon" is a fairly recently coined term. It has not been around a long time. It simply sounds more dramatic than lunar tetrad.
2. A more dramatic term gets more buzz and more media coverage. It sells more books and makes for better broadcasts.
3. While I believe that Christ's return will be within my lifetime, nobody knows the timing well enough, to narrow it down to a year and month. (In the e-mail I got, it said the rapture would happen Sept 2015)
4. This particular lunar tetrad is NOT the specific moon turning blood red mentioned in the Bible.
We do need to stay alert and the end is near, however, we also need to be aware that many will dramatize signs into more than they actually are.
That's my take on it.

One thing I keep in mind...God manifested redemption within the Jewish Holiday's ..Jesus being crucified during the Passover..the Holy Spirit coming during the feast of Pentecost which was the feast of tabernacles wasn't it...can't recall...I take a watch and listen approach to this as I am not sure that truths will be unveiled to us as is needed for us to be guided and focused in these last days..

Revelation 6:12
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became asblood;
Because Hagee's "blood moon" description and event is nothing like the Bible's. It's not even close. Here are a few of the biblical differences:
1. The Bible's "blood moon" happens AFTER the tribulation; Hagee's "blood moon" happens BEFORE. That is a significant difference.
2. The Bible's "blood moon" is a singular event; Hagee's "blood moon" is a four part tetrad. That is a significant difference.
3. The Bible's "blood moon" is linked with the great earthquake that moves all islands; Hagee's "blood moon" has no corresponding earthquake. That is a significant difference.
4. The Bible's "blood moon" is linked with the sun going black; Hagee's "blood moon" has no connection with the sun going black. That is a significant difference.
5. The Bible's "blood moon" happens on Christ's return on His day of wrath. That is not how Hagee's presents it.
In the Bible, the moon going red happens at the 6th seal, the day of wrath. Roughly, the two witnesses are raised, at the breaking of the seal, the BIG earthquake hits, Jesus comes in wrath, AT HIS COMING the sun goes black and the moon goes red. The moon and sun react how they do because of His presence in wrath.
The point is that the biblical description and Hagee's narrative are so far apart that, this particular lunar tetrad is CANNOT be the specific moon turning blood red mentioned in the Bible.

We need to ask - How accurate is the current Jewish calendar to the real calendar used at the time of Jesus
God has his own calendar which is higher than ours and even the Jewish calendar - many things that have happened supernaturally on earth were not connected to the Jewish calendar
Too much weight is given to the Jewish calendar to make all sorts of assumptions
Still waiting for something substantial to happen in 2016 since that is only one year after the blood moons ? Not much time left, it will soon be 2017.
