I'm thinking that the same effect could be involved some times when people are ministered healing to and symptoms disappear or are reduced for a while then they return later. The placebo effect affected the symptoms but not the underlying cause and since the underlying cause is still there, the symptoms return. This effect could still be present even when the power of God isn't involved.

So if you become unhappy with that and want to gain a few hundred pounds again then all you need to do is change your expectations about what the pizza is going to accomplish ?
