He's using bands to support his grip. This 460 kilo lift is better :

His flamboyant behavior is probably due to his having taken cocaine to energize him for the lift. I don't know if Eddie Hall does that. Never mind the other drugs they abuse.

I'm not sure what the rules are but they probably don't test them. The 460 lift is done in a powerlifting organization called "Hardcore". The name suggests that they don't care. The 463 is from a strongman competition or show I think and there they are allowed to use wrist bands and also rest the bar on their thighs and then jerk it back and forth until their backs are straight. So the 460 lift is done with stricter lifting rules. It is basically a real deadlift. The bar bends a lot though, which helps a bit. Under IPF rules (they test for drugs) they would have to use a firmer bar and he would probably lift less. But still way over 400 kilos.

That guy didn't even use wrist straps like the first guy did. All hand grip.

This guy lifted quadruple bodyweight under IPF rules and without any equipment. Just a belt.

That's athleticism. And over 800 pounds.

Here's another enormous lifter lifting over 900 pounds in the squat. Ray Williams of the USA. Again, IPF rules and no equipment.

    See 1:40 and on.
