They're completely incorrect about Rubio. He was born in Miami...it doesn't matter WHAT nationality his parents were. He IS a natural born citizen. As to whether Cruz is eligible....that depends on how you translate Natural Born Citizen.

Well...it might actually be true with Cruz...he was born in Canada.

it doesn't matter a flip WHERE someone is born IF the mother/father is an American citizen.. that transfers to the child automatically.

It should...it all comes down to splitting hairs. Everyone went crazy over President Obama....I'm amazed this hasn't become huge news already. Like I said in another thread, I think the Dem. party is just waiting to see if Cruz gets the nomination, then you can guarantee the internet is going to blow up with this.

btw, I don't think it should matter if they're born out of country. What about people traveling, or folks in the military?
no, they're still citizens, natural born citizens.
