A beautiful person is one who has an inner beauty. The only way to have inner beauty is to have Christ as Lord and Savior.

Another interesting thing about Mr. Trump is that Republican voters perceive him as the least religious of all of the candidates, yet evangelical voters still support him.

Donald Trump may not be the most religious candidate in the GOP field, but a new Pew Research Center poll out Wednesday suggests evangelicals are willing to vote for him anyway.

The poll reveals that just 5 percent of Republicans view Trump as very religious, compared to fellow Republicans Ben Carson with 47 percent, Ted Cruz with 30 percent, and Marco Rubio with 20 percent. Even Hillary Clinton is seen as more religious, with 10 percent.

Yet, in what Time calls a break with an old "political rule" that "only devout candidates can attract religious voters," Trump tied with Carson in first for the highest share of white evangelical voters who see him as a good leader.

"Many Republicans think Trump would be a good president despite his perceived lack of religiousness," Pew reports. "The pattern is very different for other leading GOP candidates; virtually all Republicans who think Cruz, Rubio, and Carson would be successful presidents (and who express a view about their religiousness) also say they view those candidates as at least somewhat religious."

The poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.2 percentage points, comes a day after evangelical leader and Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. endorsed Trump. --- http://www.theweek.com/speedreads/60...als-still-love

Yeah, and her show is great. Megyn is funny, self-deprecating, is a tough questioner, but also a very serious journalist. She tackles tough subject matter with fairness and honesty. I don't watch her show (but DVR it sometimes), but it is excellent.

I've explained this so many times and it's very simple to understand.

Trump touches upon many common sense issues that the average American wants addressed. It is not difficult at all to understand Trump's attraction, but one has to live in the US to understand it.

People want our borders secured. They don't want the US to become a third world hell-hole. They want someone tough on terrorists. They don't want Gitmo detainees that swear they will continue to kill Americans, to be released into the world to, you know....kill Americans. They don't want someone who is part of the Washington establishment that talks out of both sides of their mouths. They want someone who appeals to working class union types.

Believe it or not, Trump represents all of this plus more. His downfall is his ego, entitlement attitude, and his crass immaturity. I don't like Trump, but I do understand his appeal.

He understands the economy, and that, besides the terror/border issue, are probably the two things that matter most to people, and Trump addresses those things head on. I think people are willing to overlook his character and put their trust in the fact that he doesn't hate this country, and genuinely wants what is best for it.

Again, I don't agree with this and I'm very torn about this, but I also understand his appeal, especially in the two things I mentioned.

Believe me....he already has some union endorsements, and minorities also find him a very attractive candidate. You would be surprised who he attracts, but not WHY he attracts. You have to live here to understand the havoc open borders has wreaked upon local economies and the consequences of it.

I did get that already. He reminds me of a notorious Norwegian populist, Carl I. Hagen, though relatively speaking they are not working the same position on the political spectrum. Mr Hagen was fantastically charismatic and appealing to various types of voters but it probably boiled down to nothing much more than the blander version represented by more down to earth politicians from his party. He never got to work from a ruling position, not even in a coalition. His crown princess is in coalition with the bigger right wing party right now and that doesnt work like mr Hagen talked, to put it mildly. It is always possible to blame the others as long as one doesnt have an outright majority but I dont think that is the problem.

I just wish he'd done this to CNN if he was going to do it.
