It's not in the Word of God... because apparently it was not inspired by God.
God controlled what got put in to His Book inspite of mankind.

Here is a warning for people who seek truth elsewhere so as to fill out the 'gaps' in the Bible and who speculate about which parts of that stuff is inspired or should be seen as canonical :
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure;
