Basically nothing. Ate breakfast. Watching a little of the Bama/TX game. Going to see my mother in the nursing home. Get me a ground beef taco salad after that and then coming home to watch my GA Bulldogs at 4.

I've been getting the trailer ready for our first long trip. We plan to head out on Tuesday headed for Florida. My sister has full hookups in her back yard so I plan to park there while I fly around the world for a couple months. Adventures in retirement!

We are enjoying some camping for a few. Being close to town we pretty much just tossed stuff in and hooked up. Home is only 5 miles away. Pure upnorth living.

Driving home from Metro Detroit northside. Funeral visitation for a dear friend.

Getting geared up for a hunting trip in the hills. Camper is ready, will be using the furnace on battery power at night. Snow is predicted up at the Straits.

Had to stand down with the hunting trip until next Thurs when the weather dries out. Tracking a deer's blood trail in a dark swamp with rain just will not work.

Ok, here we go again. It's been raining 8 days straight and tomorrow morning will make 9 but I'm hooking the camper up and heading for the hills. First time solo with the camper and solo hunting in our 60ac swamp. Bears, cougars and wolves. Have also had wild hogs eating the gut piles we leave behind. This will be a fun challenge and God willing I'll bring some venison home with a story.
