I believe that to be true. Listening to the last radio contact between the Fitz and Arthur Anderson is chilling. Hearing the desperate pleas from the USCG lifesaving station at the Soo, begging Capt Cooper to go back out to search for survivors is haunting. Cooper flatly refused risking his men and the Arthur Anderson but later changed his mind and went out to search.

I'm listening to Wayne Jacobsen videos "jake Colsen So You Don't Want to go to Church Anymore" book club first 3 videos on his facebook page.
I haven't read that book in at least 15-20 years. I guess that's the heighth of boredom.
I'm at work but have absolutely nothing to do here. I've never been no nonproductive. I'm in my "semi-retirement" job. It's a no-brainer job. I left healthcare June 3rd and took a position as sales assistant at a new home builder model home. Needless to say it's a little slow right now with the interest rates rising.

Have a little meeting this morning, voting around 1pm, a little bit of maintenance on the Jeep...and then a peaceful night getting after the almighty hard fighting smallmouth bass trolling a sweetspot on lake Charlevoix.

The first day of the month is for cleaning the washer (front loader ) and dishwasher. So, after I'm done with laundry, I'll run some of those cleaner tablets through the washer. And I'll clean out the dishwasher filter.

Other than that, it's easy weeding and general garden chores, household chores. We made a run up to the cabin - Scott got a deer blind. I told him I expect at least two deer. Neighbor says one of the herds in the area is about 80 deer! We have about 5 that regularly meander through our property up there. I wish we could take deer here in the city - we have about 25 in our little neighbor and they are eating everything in sight.

Rigging the camper for a local outing. Close to home. In a few weeks it's the Yoop country to camp on the St Mary's to watch the freighters and fish for anything that bites though I'll rig for big pike and muskie.
