That's wonderful Krystian! The company my husband works at (a Landscaping & Garden Center) never had to close because they're considered essential. They're also giving them a $3 raise for the next several weeks, and a $300+ bonus in the employees paychecks.

I placed some sunscreen around my patio cover. Hung a quilted wall hanging, did my laundry and visited with my youngest who came over to do his laundry.

I think I was very productive and actually it was a very satisfying day. And before you say what about church, I did attempt it, but they had issues and I couldn't stream. I do plan to listen later tonight. Lol.

I hope you all are well, and of course staying safe.
Wow! It's a wonder you had any time to do anything else!

Our Church finally was able to re-open yesterday. YAY! I've been missing going to Church, especially after mom passed, but I didn't realize how much I missed my pastors, and Church family until I walked into the building yesterday.

It was an emotional experience to say the least. I'll NEVER take Church for granted again.

I was tired of cooking everyday so I got a meal from KFC. Now the plan is to get the garden soil ready to plant. I've got bunches of old bananas that I'm going to chop up and incorporate into the dirt.

Mr C has gone to run some errands and I'm doing a few chores while I am still inclined to do so.

Grocery shopping today. Outside for a walk later. Need to plant my beets and Swiss chard. I need to fence it off and hope the bunnies don't get them.

Had a great baking day. Started with two loaves of sourdough bread that were raising during the night. Then I made buttermilk biscuits for the first time so we had biscuits and gravy for lunch. Sadly, my wife turned a dial on the stove and the biscuits ended up a bit odd. Seems we had them on a top warming setting for 15 minutes before baking them. So to console myself I decided to make South African style buttermilk rusks. They are still drying and should be ready to eat in the morning. We do Shabbat on Shabbat here so rather than go to a church service we laid hands on the cherry tree and prayed that God would protect it from worms that bore holes in tree trunks. Gonna get up early have some of those rusks.

I had a Goldilocks "who's been sleeping in my bed" moment. But it has theological implications.

We make decisions based on what we know. If what we know led to the correct answer last time won't it again this time? Well what if this time the answer's wrong? Could it be that what we thought we knew was actually wrong but in the past just happened to fit the circumstances. It's actually hard to go back and admit you've been wrong all the time, it's often easier to ignore the new situation, pretending it doesn't exist. Then you weren't wrong.

Yesterday I had an opportunity to check where my grave site was and it appeared occupied (who's been buried in my grave?). As I was rushed I went back this morning with a copy of the paperwork to verify things and yep, it looked to me like I had a new friend.

So I found a staff member who was actually a Surf Lifesaver, reassigned to paint crosses as the beaches are closed, but he couldn't help. He found someone else and he could. I was wrong.

See where my MIL and her two sisters are/will be buried the numbers go away from the road so I counted away from the road for me. Well that works there, but not here, as the correct method is to count left to right everywhere (which is obvious when you're told it).

Working on my film/TV script. It's almost ready to present to interested Film or TV people.

Cooked short ribs in the slow cooker yesterday for the first time since I got married. Hubby LOVED them. But I didn't tell him the green beans were by Glory.
