    A more likely common denominator is that they do things without explicit proof and that they are a bit unaccomodating towards different views but the truth in both cases could be that the children were actually being abused. I don't think specifically Christian beliefs have much to do with it.

    The video about the Czech woman says :

    "the kids were removed after one of them allegedly spoke of being abused by his father"

    That means that the child said that to "barnevernet". There would have been a huge outcry if they had done nothing after being told that.
