How do you know? I don't think I've seen the same driver twice.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

They burn'em and churn'em. Those aren't really Amazon owned trucks you see. They are private vendors who lease the trucks from amazon in exchange for delivery routes but it's pretty much a scam. The drivers are under microscopic surveillance and get penalized for all kinds of things. It's not slave labor but it's as close as you can get without egregiously breaking labor laws.
I did a deep dive on it once but way to much to post here.

I know USPS and UPS do most of our personal deliveries. Knowing a retired UPS driver, he said mgt and policy is crazy rigid. Every little move you make on the route is tracked and recorded.

Amazon has a system where the contracted delivery companies get dinged ($) on every driver error.

That is true of Amazon, I can watch them when they are 5 stops away from me. I knew people who drove for UPS in the 90s. Those jobs were coveted then, they paid really well. It's a shame things have changed so much.

Right and only recently has gone over the edge. My friend said after 20 years he now has PTSD. Enough to give him nervous twitches and anxiety that in his retirement is now bound by alcohol.
