    Nefarious

We went to see this movie last week. Absolutely riveting! I don't know why it got an R rating other than for the execution scene. I looked away from it, but I don't think it was too horrible.

My takeaways are that evil is insidious, and it creeps in by little agreements, and it has definitely taken over in America. I have other thoughts to share, but thought I'd just start this thread.

Did anyone else see this movie?

Sounds very interesting. Because I'm in the business of deliverance, I might just see if it's showing here.

I think you would glean a lot from this movie, A.J. and it would be worth it for you to see it.

I didn't see the movie but I'm pretty sure there are a lot more demon possessed people in America then, lets say in the 50's?

Every true disciple of Jesus is supposed to cast out devils, heal the sick and preach the gospel. So I guess you could say that "we are all in the "business" of setting people free.

You should attend a Pioneer training school or Kickstart meeting if you get the chance. You would love it.

    Thanks. I probably would.

I'll never forget the crazy discussion (argument) we got got into on the forum the very first time I posted about having done a deliverance. Why, Christians couldn't have demons!! Wow. I was truly taken by surprise.

Now, doing deliverance and deliverance ministry teams are all over the place with all kinds of courses and training!

As far as I'm concerned, a person could live the most normal life and still need deliverance from demons.

Demons don't care how nice you are or that you've never done this or that. They work within the legal system in the spirit realm and if there's a legal right of any kind, they'll take advantage of it. Doesn't matter who you are.

I remember reading those Frank Peretti novels and the scene that stuck with me were the parishioners at church, and the demons with them holding their hands over their ears.

I'm not really a 'Christian fiction' person but for whatever reason I decided to read 'This Present Darkness' many years after it came out back in the day. I think it might be the only fiction book I've read since I've been saved. But anyway, I really liked the book. It helped give flesh to how demons operate. I would recommend it to anyone.
