This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

You'd enjoy it. At first I was skeptical when they played secular music with Christian lyrics. Then I realized why they did that, it was for the unchurched. It went well.

But, when they sang and played the anointed worship music, it was absolutely indescribable! The atmosphere changed dramatically and Holy Spirit showed! Even the hardened souls had their hands up worshipping God.

It was a beautiful sight as arms were outstretched towards Heaven, and tears streaming. Needless to say, the Altar call was full at the end of service. We will be attending again and taking a couple of my husband's biker co-workers with us.

LOL! No tattoo required and they'd gladly let you ride!

Yes, Savelle and Copeland still have the biker ministry. Our neighbors are members.

Most SDA's I've know were good Christians. However, my biggest gripe with SDA's is that they condemn Sunday worshippers claiming that it's the 'mark of the beast'.

My father's family are SDA people. They seem to like it that our worships services here in Israel include the Sabbath as well as Sunday services. But it is really easy to slow down starting Friday evening here since the buses don't run and most businesses close before sunset Fridays. I'm really going to miss that when I am back in the US. I've lived here for more than 33 years but I plan to fly back to the US in July.

I have met many great people who are SDA. But I don't think I could go as far as saying that someone who is hung up on OT law would be considered a "good Christian". Paul was kept pretty busy trying to stomp out these wild fires in his day. His letter to the church in Galatia comes to mind............

    3. CHRIST ignored completely the old Jewish Sabbath. The first day is the prominent day after Resurrection. (Mathew 28:1, Mark 16:9, John 20:1,19,26).
Nice series of scriptures listed here. It seems that Jesus was careful to avoid causing His followers to desecrate the Sabbath. And by the way, the word Sabbath literally means the seventh day. But for the sake of the OP, Yes, we should worship on Sunday. It is a day set aside for many to gather and worship and that is certainly a good thing. It isn't necessary to justify Sunday worship. By the same token, it is not worthwhile to condemn worship on Saturday.

Top Ten Reasons Why Christians should Worship on Sundays as Lord's DAY !!!.

We should worship the LORD JESUS CHRIST at all times. Praises will continually go forth from my mouth.

    1. To commemorate the Resurrection and the finished work of CHRIST in its VICTORY over death, hell, and grave. ( Mathew 28:1, Mark 16:9, John 20:1 ).
    2. The LORD'S manifestation to HIS Disciples was on Sunday. (John 20:1/19/20).
    3. CHRIST ignored completely the old Jewish Sabbath. The first day is the prominent day after Resurrection. (Mathew 28:1, Mark 16:9, John 20:1,19,26).
    4. The OUTPOURING of the HOLY SPIRIT came on SUNDAY. PENTECOST was the first day after the Jewish Sabbath.(Acts 2:1, Leviticus 23:15-21.) Thus both CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT manifested themselves to the Church, the BODY OF CHRIST, on this day completely ignoring the Jewish sabbath day.
    5. CHRIST or no Apostle ever commanded to keep the old Jewish sabbath, or any other day, but did command all men not to be bound by any particular day .( Roman's 14:5/6, Galatians 4:9/11, Colossians 2:14/17) Sin is sin wherever it is committed. It is transgression of the law that constitutes sin. (1 John 3:4 ) not the day in which it is done, anything sinful on saturday or sunday is sinful on every other day. If it is not sinful on Monday, Tuesday or etc then it is not sinful on Sunday to Worship as an Eccelsia Church Gathering Corporate in Person.
    (Hebrew 10:24/25).
    6. There is no set day as commanded to be a sabbath in the NEW COVENANT, as in the old covenant which was abolished, and they keep Sunday as the day of Worship.(Revelation 1:10, 1 Corinthians 16:2, Acts 20:7, John 20:1/19/26, Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:9).
    7. The Jewish Sabbath was a changeable sabbath, changing at PENTECOST every year to one day later until each day of the week was observed every seven years. PENTECOST was the first day after the 7th sabbath. ( Leviticus 23:15/21). The feast of the First Fruits came on Sunday, just as The Resurrection. (Leviticus 23:9/14, Mathew 28:1, John 20:1).
    8. GOD honored Sunday by giving the Law on that day. (Exodus 19:1/3/11, Leviticus 23:3/6, Exodus 12:2/13).
    9. The Church of LORD JESUS CHRIST came together to Worship and took the LORD'S HOLY COMMUNION (SUPPER). ( 1 Corinthians 10:16) Acts 20 Verse 7: And upon the first day of the Week, the Disciples came together to break bread.
Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
    10. Constantine and the Pope did not change the sabbath and that's why we WORSHIP on Sunday and "Bless the LORD oh my soul" every single day making mention of HIS HOLY NAME as we live in CHRIST's KINGDOM. (Acts 17:28).
Number 3 is definitely not accurate as Christ was in the synagogue every single Sabbath as was His custom.

He also created, taught and kept the 10 Commandments - as did His followers.

... Just checking if there is anything new here. Nope, same stuff in the same package. I'm sure glad God loves me anyway.
