This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...

Ezekiel 33 (08-18-2022)
Jumping back in to clarify. I feel fine! I agree with Liz in her desire to stop another Trump fiasco presidency. However, she did need to lose the election. She must have forgotten that she was elected to represent the will of her constituents, not to vote according to her own opinion. Clearly she betrayed the voters. The right thing to do would have been for her to step down from her House seat and simply say that she could not in good conscience support the will of her constituents. That said, it will be interesting to see what she does next.
I also want to correct the false accusations that she is a RINO. There are RINOS in Congress, but she is not one of them. She has an extremely conservative voting record and supported Trump 90% of the time. RINOS don't do that.
BTW, I was happy to get one private message supporting my posts. I suspect there are others here who feel as I do but don't want the hassle involved in our "discussions."
I'm very concerned about Christians who support Trump. To think that many unsaved Americans now think of Christians as supporters of a corrupt politician is troubling. I think, too, many of these people are the same ones who are eagerly passing around various conspiracy theories designed for "itching ears." I want to tell these yahoos to stop being tools of the enemy. God does not launch conspiracy theory videos. Let's be truth-tellers, not conspiracy-tellers. They're as bad as Heresy Hunters, looking for the next juicy conspiracy. These false "theories" bring the church down even more. It's like Satan is using unsuspecting Christians to further his agenda. I'm having none of it.

Are you equally concerned about Christians who support Biden, Harris, Pelosi etc. or just Trump? I've only heard you mention Trump but not those who support abortion, open borders, globalism, socialism etc.
IMO, the growing conspiracy community is a result of the biased media and government lying to the people for decades on end. They have caused this, thus the people looking elsewhere for truth. How about we put the blame where it belongs.
Furthermore, some conspiracies that we (including myself) scoffed at 10-15yrs ago has come to pass. Some of the conspiracies are pretty far out, I'll admit, but when they start coming to pass, it makes more and more people believe in them.

Good grief, man! I've been here for at least 15 years and you don't know that I'm as conservative as anyone here? I just can't abide corruption in the candidates I vote for. I'd NEVER vote for a liberal. I just think conservatives need to possess the high ground. We have the media, academia, and now even some in the sports world to overcome. If we have to cheat to win, it's not winning at all. Truth is the thing. Not lies.

We won't have perfect rule until Jesus Christ comes to reign, in the meantime we pick the cleanest dirty shirt.
Your notion of pastor as president is completely flawed, the job of the president or any elected official is to simply keep the church open, not be the church.

Liz Cheney:
At this moment we're confronting a domestic threat that we have never faced before — and that is a former president who is attempting to unravel the foundations of our constitutional republic.
...
No party and no people and no nation can defend and perpetuate a constitutional republic if they accept a leader who's gone to war with the rule of law, with the democratic process, or with the peaceful transition of power, with the Constitution itself. [A requote of Ronald Reagan.]
...
But the reality that we face today as Republicans — as we think about the choice in front of us — we have to choose. Because Republicans cannot both be loyal to Donald Trump and loyal to the Constitution.
...
Some in my party are embracing former President Trump. And even after all we have seen, they are enabling his lies.
Truer words were never spoken.
