Donald Trump's ex-wife Ivana Trump dead at 73
Former President Trump's ex-wife Ivana Trump has died at age 73 after being found at her New York City apartment unconscious and near the bottom of a staircase.
"I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City. She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!," Trump said in a Truth Social post.
Donald Trump and Ivana Trump had three children after getting married in 1977, which include Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
A spokesperson for the New York City Police Department told Fox News that police responded to a 911 call on Thursday and found the 73-year-old unconscious.
"On Thursday, July 14, 2022, at approximately 1240 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a aided individual at 10 East 64 Street , within the confines of the 19 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 73 year-old female unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene," the spokesperson said.
An NYPD spokesperson told Fox News Digital there is no criminality suspected and police are staging outside her Upper East Side home for security purposes.
A spokesperson for the NYPD also told Fox News that Ivana Trump was found unconscious "in close proximity" to the bottom of a staircase in her apartment.
The New York City Fire Department responded to a report of a cardiac arrest at Ivana Trump's residence on Thursday afternoon, a source told Fox News.
A law enforcement source told Fox News that someone at Ivana Trump's residence called police to ask for a wellness check because he hadn't seen Ivana in a while. When authorities arrived, they opened her door and found her at the bottom of the stairs, but it's unclear whether she fell.
A statement by the Trump family provided to Fox News Digital said that his mother was "a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend."

I feel sad for their children. I understand they were very close to their mother, a strong bond. I heard Dr Ben Carson say the Trump children were the most kind, unselfish, well-mannered he'd met in a long time. He said they were very kind to him and Candy and he was impressed how well they'd been raised, which indicated to him, that Ivana and Trump Sr were exceptional parents with them.
