Here in Europe we also have religeous freedom.
I am all for praying without ceasing. I was just asking why after a football game?
What if a moslem feels free to pray anywhere, anytime?
I really would rather understand better than discuss this.
Those are good questions.
The ruling applies to all religions, so a head coach of the Muslim faith is now
free to kneel down in the middle of the field and pray to Allah. (But he can't
order his players to join him.)
Now, as to the question of why one would want to pray at a football game,
Matthew 6:6 comes to mind:
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they
love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by
men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward. But when you pray, go
into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen.
And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Jesus is warning us against the use of prayer as a form of "virtue signaling".

Virtue signalling? Like wearing a mask or two?
Was Daniel virtue signalling when he prayed before an open window so ALL could see?
