Not really. It discusses the ministers of that era, the good, the bad, and the ugly. We had it as a text book at Rhema.

Yep. His is a blurb I found on it:
Written by a Professor Emeritus at Auburn University, this is the first objective history of the great revivals that swept the country after World War II. It tells the story of the victories and defeats of such giants of the revival as William Branham, Oral Roberts, Jack Coe, T. L. Osborn, and A. A. Allen. It also tells of the powerful evangelists who carried on the revival, including Robert Schambach and Morris Cerullo. Those who lived through the great revivals of the 1950s and 1960s will be thrilled to read about those exciting days, and those interested in the religious history of the United States need to read this book to see what has led us up to this present moment in time.
Can you give an example of the highlighted above, and a scripture for the underlined? I recall that Jesus/said, "he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do..." John 14:12
I don't recall being told to pray the miracles into reality. But I could've missed that.
The best example we are given for praying for one another in the church is in James.
He tells us to look at Elijah. When you look at Elijah's ministry you see that he had to pray more than once to raise up the dead lad, and he also prayed 7 times for the rain. He prayed, then sent his servant to check. The 7th time his servant came back and said that he saw a cloud on the horizon the size of a man's fist. And then came the rain.Quote:
James 5:15-17
New King James Version
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
James tells us "The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, and then gives us this example to study.
So one could take that as a sanctified saint praying through until he sees the miracle happen.
Right, there is also ministry gift of "working of miracles", you don't hear to much about.
1 Corinthians 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
