    Tell us about your username

What does your forum nickname mean and why did you pick it? Some have changed theirs thru the years, what was your original and why did you change it?

Years ago, on an AOL message board, I got tired of the "What's your sex/age/location" question.. so my first nic was FemmeCaNOYB, but eventually I realized I was fine with people knowing how old I was .. so I dropped the "noyb"

The nic carried over to just about all my message boards. .. then i dropped the "CA" because my friends usually just called me Femme

    yeah, I know.. boring.

I couldn't think of what to use as a user name so I picked up my Greek Lexicon. I came across different forms of the greek for the word "victory." I chose Nikos, which simply means victory and the verse I got it from is I Cor. 15:57 "But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." I have used this username several years.

When I first saw that username I thought you were from Greece. Then I thought you were Greek and had immigrated to the US or that your forefathers had.

Boring? You wanna hear boring? I was new to the world of computers and forums and the first time I registered on a Christian board I was just going to go with a simple 'Christian' for a nick. Well, that was taken so I went with a version of it that was spelled differently.

Mine was originally Listamadre. I was learning Spanish at the time, and I was going through a rough patch in life where my children were the only things that I took pride in. Also...Lista looks a lot like my real name...Lisa...so I became the "ready, or prepared Mom" Everyone called me Lista...so after one of the MANY MANY MANY forum changes I became Lista.

Just plain ole American-Scotch Irish on my Dad's side and German on my Mother's side.

No, I 'm not from outer space if that's what you're thinking.
