    Prayer Hints

I started this thread to find out your prayer hints.
Prayer hints that you have found successful in getting your prayers answered.
All comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I will start out leading the pack with this prayer hint.

The Bible says if we pray and ask according to His will, He will hear us and grant our request. This has nothing to do with a type of "genie in a bottle" request either. (See 1John 5:14-15)

This actually means that if our prayer is not in line with God's will, revealed in His Word, then He will not hear that prayer. *(And I might add if there is unconfessed sin in our lives, He will not hear either (Psalm 66:18).

Thats a strong statement, but it is true. God doesn't hear our prayers unless they are according to His will.
God's Word is synonymous with His Will.
Thats why He says put Me in remembrance of My Word (Isa 43:26), because He wants us to remember what He has promised which will get us answers to our prayers.
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Talk with God as if you are a child talking with your Dad.
Trust him and know he wants the best.

Allow him to answer in his way

When we pray in other tongues, we are always praying according to the will of God.
When we pray in other tongues, our words are being directed by the Holy Spirit, and our minds are not involved.
When our words are directed by the Holy Spirit, God will watch over the words and perform them because they are His words (Jeremiah 1:12).
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

Love this translation by Kenneth Wuest who was a Greek scholar and has his own 'expanded' translation.

7 If you maintain a living communion with me and my words are at home in you, I command you to ask, at once, something for yourself, whatever your heart desires, and it will become yours.

Wuest taught for one year starting in 1924 at the Freewill Baptist Seminary in Ayden, North Carolina, then for several years starting in 1925 at the Brookes Bible Institute in St. Louis, Missouri, before joining the faculty of Moody Bible Institute in 1929, where he served as professor of New Testament Greek.[2] Over the next few decades, he published more than a dozen books on the New Testament. Wuest has been cited as an influential Dispensationalist scholar.[4]

Wuest is credited as one of the translators of the original New American Standard Bible (NASB).[5] He later went on to produce his own English translation of the New Testament, the Wuest Expanded Translation (WET), based on Nestle's critical text.[6] In his translation of the New Testament, Wuest attempts to make the original Greek more accessible to the lay reader by drawing out (in translation) the full variety of possible meanings and translations of the underlying Greek words.[6]

Hebrews 11:6 - "Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him, must believe that He exists, and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
