    The Thank You Project

Pretty darn cool. All three of my kids have had near death incidents during their lives, not to mention other stuff, like broken bones.... even DH with his open heart surgery to repair his mitral valve... The people who work to save lives don't get thanked enough.

My youngest son was in a severe motorbike accident and had to be airlifted by STARS to the nearest university hospital, almost 3 hours by car, away... He says that when he's out with friends or new acquaintances, the conversation will often go to broken bones and personal injury... he laughs because he's the conversation killer with something like 14 broken bones and a surgical scar from below his belly button to his sternum. So grateful he's alive and able to laugh about it. This was about 7-8yrs ago now.
