    What's Your Favorite Spice/Rub?

Just wondering what seasonings do you like to use for beef, chicken, pork? Do you have a favorite recipe?

For grilling steak, Montreal Steak Seasoning from McCormick's. Rub into the NY Strip, Ribeyes etc about 30min prior to putting on the grill. Delicious.

For smoking/grilling anything pork, Smokehouse Barbeque Seasoning from Smokecraft.

I agree with you on the Montreal Steak Seasoning...

I do a "homemade" Cajun Spice seasoning that I put on chicken, pork and seafood too.

We don't really use rub on anything but pork butt. There is a local BBQ restaurant here that sells their seasoning in Kroger, Fox Bros BBQ. They've been on Food Network several times on different programs. We take that and do a 50/50 mix of that and brown sugar. Their's doesn't have any sugar.

Pork butt on the smoker all day. It's what's for dinner. Used the Spicecraft Smokehouse BBQ seasoning. Oh man, that beloved smoke ring on the cuts.
