He's certainly continuing to lie. As for new instances of adultery, no, but the previous instances remain without any apparent remorse.
But the main point is this: The Christian Right, in their unqualified embrace of Trump, have lost the moral authority to question the values of other candidates for office. And in a larger sense, their ability to legitimately critique the "degradation of culture" has been reduced, given that the man they support without qualification is contributing to that degradation.
But they can (with legitimacy) question the policies of those candidates.
Do you prefer Bernie Sanders who praised Castro over literacy but conveniently ignores the thousands imprisoned, tortured and many murdered????
As an outsider Trump is no angel but he is far better than the hypocrite Democrats running for Prez.
All of Trumps previous affairs which I disagree with is far less dangerous to Obama opening the floodgates to LGBTQ promotion to children
In God's eyes anyone promoting abortion promotes Murder and the Democrat Party are fully in favor of this despicable crime against humanity
Why not support Trump's policies while criticizing his behavior? Why does it have to
be "all or nothing"?
When the Christian Right aligns with Trump without qualification, i.e., without any
critique of his behavior, then they're implicitly stating that "values don't matter".
While this may be a logical strategy for voting, the failure to offer any public critique
of the president's grossly immoral behavior, including the continuing stream of lies,
renders the Christian Right incapable of offering a credible prophetic critique of
societal values. Of course, they can say what they want about society's problems,
but many will rightly view such critiques as opportunistic rather than sincere.
