For many years I did my own taxes and mailed them in but about 5 years ago I got tired of it and started going thru a company that e-files.
Yep, got a letter saying they were checking for identity theft and I had to answer a bunch of questions to verify it was really me. I should get the refund in a few days.

E-File users get their refunds back much sooner than us paper filers.
There is such a backlog of paper filers and not enough IRS personnel to process them, that we will mostly likely will not get our refund deposited into our bank account until July again.
Oh well, what's the hurry anyways, it better to wait for the money than to owe, wouldn't you agree?
I'd rather not ever pay taxes again, but until I die, this will be the way of things.
