I read 3 articles and they all tiptoed around the actual confirmation.

This may be like the "Brett Favre" situation, in which "retirement status" changes on a day to day basis. Wish that worked at my job.

But mainly, I think Mr. Brady wants to control the timing and format of his announcement. It seems that someone leaked the report without his permission.

Well, it seems it's "official". So no repeat of the Brett Favre scenario.
