The shot mandates may have something to do with that. My brother works on a college campus that is 98% shot up but some employees are walking off, some with only a few years to pension benefits. So, I'm thinking this is another engineered crisis, labor shortage, we need more migrants! This is how they roll.
I think with the truckers this will be the excuse to use self-driving trucks, eliminate drivers altogether.
Like you said, time will tell.

It's interesting that you in other states haven't noticed any but yes, in Michigan there are some shelves that are empty, nothing major tho.

They're preparing for a robotic age.
I live a few blocks from google HQ and have talked to a lot of people who work in the tech industry.
It would frighten a lot of people if they knew what is on the horizon.
They want to create a new utopia on earth. De-population is part of the agenda, make no mistake. But God is control.

A friend of mine is a truck driver who lives in PA. He said it is getting ridiculous. He just drove a load of 6 pallets from VA to Michigan last week.

Just six pallets or loaded pallets? Either way, that's a light load.

I'm definitely seeing shortages on BOGO items, 2fers are selling out quickly.
Some brands appear to be gouging. Heinz vs. Hunts, Heinz is gouging, Hunts is holding so there are definitely some bad players out there taking advantage. Coca Cola also gouging. Bargains can still be had with protein, steaks, chicken, pork.
