    Not crazy.

I was debating asking the same question.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...

I am so sorry to hear this. You are held in prayer.

I have heard this before and I agree with you. I was told recently about someone going on Hospice and they tell them, Hospice will pay for everything so don't worry about the charges. This person is on Medicare but don't think they have an advantage plan to help pay for meds and tests. I didn't say anything to the sister of the patient but I look for the person to die shortly.
My husband and I have agreed to NOT let Hospice be involved in our life if we should get bad. I am sorry for you brother. Will be praying for you. God bless you.

That is what happened with Terry Schivo (in Florida). Her parents could not even give her ice on her lips. Her husband had the final say and she died and he had her cremated so they could not request an autopsy later. It was so sad for her family.

No, I know where that goes. The practice of doping patients in hospice is pretty much a standard practice in the US. I have a nephew who is a Pastor and he has seen this done many times to people he was visiting in the hospital.
