I think the bear was retreating anyway. Doesn't really look like she needed to push it. But she's a better man than I am.

Yeah, the bear wanted to get out of there but it did grab that little dog, that's what she was trying to protect when she ran out and pushed it.

Mama bear with cubs, reason she even reacted to the dogs. Could have got ugly though, lucky gal. As far I know we don't have em in Indiana (black bears that Michigan has).

We have too many and the tag wait list is way too long. They are a dangerous nuisance. Nothing incites an attack quicker than a yapping, barking dog.
