Sorry, I'm not i the mood to rehash this very old argument. I know, I started it. But you have gone a very long way away from the OP.

I wasn't aware of it being an old argument. At least it is about old vs new testament revelations of God. I could say that I've seen God in a way that seems similar to revelations of him in the old testament but it was through the medium of grace found in the risen Lord Jesus, which makes a basic difference.

Here's the kicker... Is God one or not? Do you believe in three or more Gods? Is Jesus a different God from the Almighty or God's Holy Spirit? Is it possible to love the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and not love Jesus?
    Tehilah Ba'Aretz:

According to scripture in God's inspired word, the Judeo-Christian Bible, there is only one (1) single God that should be worshipped, Almighty God Jehovah -- the one who is referred to by Jesus Christ as "the Father."

    Tehilah Ba'Aretz:

The individuals that were declared righteous (in the Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures) were given that declaration by Jehovah because they lived up to Jehovah's requirements during their lifetime. Since Jesus Christ had not been sent to earth during their lifetime, naturally they did not know him by name. So obviously, their knowing Jesus by name was not a requirement by Jehovah at that point in time.

But Jehovah's requirements expanded once Jesus showed up on earth, during the 1st century AD. At that point, those that were alive among the Jewish religions system were REQUIRED to accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the chosen one that was sent by Jehovah the Father.

It appears your position is that since some were declared righteous in the OT, despite their ignorance about Jesus' existence, that must mean Jesus Christ need not be acknowledged after he showed up in the 1st century AD. No one can expect to be declared righteous AFTER Jesus Christ showed up and they refused to accept him as Mediator between God and men. Scripture makes that quite clear.
