Too many 'temporarily closed' businesses
Have you noticed a lot of temporarily closed businesses in your area? In Metro Detroit at least a third of stores have either shortened hours or are temporarily closed. In some cases it is because an employee tested positive for covid and they had to shut down for a few days to thoroughly sanitize everything. But in most cases it's because they cannot find enough employees willing to work. There are Help Wanted signs down just about every main street.

We have several restaurants that have closed because of the lack of help.

We hear the same - about lack of help. Whitmer keeps paying them more unemployment than they could if they worked so this is what we are reaping. And also the constant fear mongering by politicians and media for virus that will go passed us like Texas and Florida if we would only OPEN UP!
