Thread: When Will The "Trump Is Returning" Believers Admit Their Error ?

  1. #41
POLITICO In a December 15 article, Michael Brown, a longtime charismatic revivalist and scholar in Charlotte, North Carolina, had sharp words, warning co-religionists: "There is no reality in which Trump actually did win but in fact didn't win. ... To entertain possibilities like this is to mock the integrity of prophecy and to make us charismatics look like total fools." After apologizing on January 7 for his own prophecy that Trump would be reelected, Jeremiah Johnson called parts of the prophetic movement "deeply sick." In early February, he released a new YouTube series called "I Was Wrong: Donald Trump and the Prophetic Controversy."

"I believe that this election cycle has revealed how desperately we need reformation in the prophetic movement," Johnson said in a February 8 video. "I have serious concerns for the charismatic-prophetic world that if we do not wake up, if we do not humble ourselves, there is greater judgment to come."

Or instead of making us look like us fools, it makes us look like we're into some kind of New Age worldview where several realities coexist and intermingle (and so forth).

33 year young Jeremiah Johnson is hardly the spokesman for the prophetic movement . For one thing he should learn to stop criticizing his elders as he did Perry Stone .. He may be gifted but he lacks maturity .. he reminds me of Peters admonition towards young ministers not to become proud -- . 1 Peter 5:5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."

Michael Brown is competing hard To be the new Lee Grady as in critic extraordinaire .. He once criticized Joseph Prince for things Joseph Prince never taught .. I suspect much of what he has to say here is no different ...

Instead of praying for the Prophetic Ministries as Paul admonished he is far more interested in pointing fingers and casting stones because they don't fit the mold of his own self appointed standards .. He is more concerned about whether or not Charismatics look like fools to the world than whether or not his position is biblical .

Most amusing though are people calling people false prophets but yet quoting Mainstream media outlets like Politico .. The MSM are the mother of all false prophets ...

Dr Michael Brown. He is sick over the arrogantly useless, wannabee prophets, who still daily put out the most nonsensical, if not outright lying prophecies. There is the true prophetic, but Kunneman, Kerr, Enlow, have veered off that path long ago if they were even on it. Even the late Kim Clement's family is still regurgitating his false prophecies to make a quick buck. And that is the bottom line with these false prophets, making as much money off the gullible charismatics as they can. I thing there is a purge of the false prophets just as there was in Jeremiah's days. They won't be able to get any more false"words" after God is through spanking them. I really believe Kim Clement died because of his gross errors in the prophetic. I know he and another Word OF Faith prophet received strong warnings that they would die if they did not change. Both of them laughed off these prophetic warnings and it caused their premature deaths. So lets see how many of these prophets get a real early bird special trip to Heaven instead of a fake one ?

When Kat Kerr claimed that she was taken into heaven before God's throne and was told by God that Trump would win the election and then she claimed that God wouldn't allow much contention about the result of the election, then she was lying. That was not an inner vision, a voice or a dream she was describing. If that wasn't a lie then exactly what would hypothetically qualify as a lie, in your opinion ?
False Prophet .. Lying Prophets whats the difference ? and what is your purpose other than to delegitimize them ?

I do believe that Katt Kerr Often puts her own opinion into what she truly received from God. There is always that danger with the prophetic. Even Kenneth Hagin admitted to doing that at times during the course of his ministry

That doesn't make her a liar . It only makes her human . Other than that nobody else to my knowledge made such claims .

Re Dr Brown -- Not sure who died and made him Judge .. I haven't sent anybody money and I hardly doubt that giving prophecies that don't come to pass is a good money making model but perhaps critics like yourself know something I dont know.. But then again I am sure there is plenty of money to be made being a critic .. Michael Brown seems to be living well ..

As far as people dying and getting early special bird trips to heaven ..I say well it could be worse .. You could be stuck here on earth and become like critics like Lee Grady whom have become irrelevant since they have nothing to SELL but criticism. Brown seems to be well on the way to emulating him..

Can you share about the true prophetic and whom you think are operating in that realm ?Or are the supposedly false prophets all you really know or care about ?

I know a few ! But they would not want to be even mentioned with these false prophets in the same article.

As sort of an outsider looking in, I agree there's probably a lack of accountability amongst charismatics and their prophets. A lot of these prophets I had never heard until last year. I've been around prophets and the gifts of the spirit, but I just came from a different stream. Much stricter.

However, I've been familiar with Dr Brown for a long time (Brownsville) and he most definitely comes across with an arrogant attitude. You don't have to be a prophet to discern that.

I appreciate Dr. Brown's willingness to speak up. Much of what is going around is just a rehash of msog.
