Does this mean Supreme Court judges who are assigned to each Circuit, or the circuit-court judges themselves?
I'm not sure whether this is good or bad news for Trump, or neither.

Trump did it so it has to be good. Supreme Court judges reassigned to each circuit.
I'm Canadian so I'm unfamiliar with the way your court system in the States is put together... heck, I don't even know the way Canadian courts are set up. From the way the guy explained it ... Sounds very good to me.
I take it you didn't bother watching the video. It would be nice if you did before you asked questions...
AND I'm listening to another video on YouTube, and they're saying the very same thing.

If cases keep getting thrown out (not heard) they would not progress to the Supreme Court, correct?

I believe so. Each higher-level court has to approve an appeal from a lower court. If a case fails to make it all the way, it never gets to Supreme Court. That's why the lower-level courts are so important.

I'm certainly no lawyer, but my understanding is that if a lower court throws out a suit, you can appeal to next higher court. And if that court throws it out, you can keep going higher until you reach the Supreme Court.

Yeah, you can always appeal to the next highest court if you don't ike the current outcome.

Problem is, at this point, the only way the Supreme Court will render a decision in Trump's favor would be if Trump's legal team somehow pulled off the cram job of a lifetime and managed to get the Court to hear their case, decide it, and render a judgment........all within 12 days. That would be warp speed and I have no faith at all that it will happen.
