I'm not sure why anyone would consider the question in the first place!

The Adventists are no different than the folks who compelled the apostle Paul to write the letter to the Galatians.

As a young pastor I had 2 confrontations with SDA's. One was a brick layer I knew from my pre-ministry electrical work. So many times I talked with him in different places but one day he walked up and started in with attacks on my faith. I was astonished at his condescending and arrogant attacks smack in the middle of an aisle of Kmart. Second confrontation was an anonymous letter to my church office of my first pastorate. Again, I was astonished to find such mean spirited, arrogant and condescending words hand-written to someone they thought to be genuinely helping.

After those 2 encounters it was easy to see they have no idea what manner of spirit they are of.

I have a friend who I was born and raised with in church. She got married to a guy and moved to the east coast but we remained friends.

They are DEEP into the sabbath now. They keep the dietary laws, wear a shawl when they pray, celebrate the Jewish holidays, pray to Yeshua etc etc. They were apart of a church split over all of this new found
    revelations.

Whatever works for them? I'm not buying it personally

I have been friends with some SDAs who believe that we "Sunday Keepers" will probably make it in the kingdom before their more legalistic fellow SDAs. While we naturally have disagreements, I have appreciated their friendship and their willingness to even allow me to minister to them.

I have also met the more legalistic ones. Have no patience with that kind.

Probably? It's nice to know we have a chance.

The "probably" are more my words than theirs. I am paraphrasing my conversation with them as I don't remember exact words. What they were saying to me is that many of their fellow SDAs have become unloving, and legalistic. On the other hand, they prefer to fellowship with Sunday keeping brothers.

They fellowship with Pentecostals and others despite doctrinal disagreements.
