The second is two people who respect each other, laugh together, have lots of things they agree on and things they disagree on, yet are willing to sit down and talk about, discuss their differences. And at no time do they denigrate the other's beliefs, rather say they totally disagree, but agree that that goes both ways.

How widely have you researched Reformed Theology LionHeart. No way can Reformed theology fit in a neat little box, just the opposite. How do you harmonise God's sovereignty and man's responsibility? JMac's response is that he doesn't know the answer to that and has never met anyone who has the answer to it (video below). But the Bible teaches God's Sovereignty over all things and also teaches that man is responsible for what he does. Reformed theology acknowledges that the Bible teaches both even though that is beyond our comprehension.

Isn't it the non-reformed that want a neat little box and so deny God's absolute Sovereignty, so that man does what he wants and God has to work around him?

the doctrine that Jesus only died for the 'elect' is an abhorrent cancer and brings disgrace to the gospel.

It is offensive to the heart of God and grieves the Holy Spirit to denigrate the suffering of Jesus with such a horrible twisted teaching. That doctrine is a cancer that needs to be removed.

Calvinists are deceived to even consider this as a genuine doctrine...it is an abomination and needs to be eradicated.
No wonder some Calvinists skip that point and become 4-point Calvinists. Then there's the detail that most Calvinists skip and which follows logically from the whole system, that the non-elect have been chosen specifically for eternal damnation, apart from anything that they have done, good or bad.

The Bible declares that you should have nothing to do with the likes of John MacArthur, a crystal clear denier of the power of godliness. You're obviously a fan.

Noone here is a fan of Kat Kerr and still you troll threads with accusations against her based on your own faulty perceptions.

Please ignore this if you're not willing to address the topic in a respectful manner, but on what grounds do you make that statement?

I am being respectful to God and would hate to stand before him and give account for downgrading the sacrifice of his son and blasphemously saying Jesus did not die for the sins of all but only a few.

Calvinists don't have any fear judging others but what they declare is far worse because it nullifies and disminishes the greatest gift God has given.

Firstly The Scriptures...God hates false doctrine

Secondly the Holy Spirit bares witness it is wrong doctrine....I feel yuk thinking about it and I have the same feeling when addressing false teaching by cults.
Apostle John says the anointing teaches us truth and error and this teaching is error

If Jesus only died for the elect saying he died for all isn't a huge disparity...wrong but not huge
    but
If God really sent Jesus to die for the whole world it becomes a grave sin to narrow God's greatest gift to a select few.

Think about it.....If God sent Jesus to die for the world he would find it insulting and offensive for puny man to detract and minimise the gift of salvation.

    What would satan desire??
He would much prefer and spread the message that Jesus only died for a select few not the whole world

Calvinism is a Doctrine of errors. In the video of the debate, Horton says salvation (ca. 35) is not a decision on our part but God makes the decision. Wrong! We of our own free will decide to follow Him. It is called Repentance.

From one of my old dead guys:

"It is to be lamented that the term irresistible grace has ever been used, since it suggests the idea of a mechanical and coercive influence upon an unwilling subject, while, in truth, it is the transcendent act of the infinite Creator, making the creature spontaneously willing." A.A. Hodge (1823-1886)
