In fact, slavery is still quite plentiful throughout the world.
That's a bit misleading. Slavery has been criminalized throughout the planet, so in those countries where there is still slavery it's illegal.

no
While slavery is illegal throughout the world, lax or zero enforcement of the laws regarding slavery make it plentiful.

um... I don't think it's been made illegal in all parts of the world.

It's more of a grey area in regards to laws. It's supposedly illegal everywhere but in many countries there are no penalties or enforcement.

Having white privilege, and so I wouldn't offend anyone who is black, here I've posted in white text.

I'm an educator, and so I see "white privilege" first hand. It comes in the form of segregation. Here in the South, schools are still segregated. I know, if you don't live here, you're thinking I'm lying. It's true, and those who live here, who are being honest, will say the same. There are the "good" schools which are 99% of the time predominantly white, and the "bad" schools which are 99% of the time predominantly black. It's a real thing. It's not a case of me thinking I'm "better" than someone else, and that I can "save" my black brothers and sisters because of my skin, it's about government bowing to the white dollar, and allowing the schools to maintain the racial divide.

Are you redefining segregation? Is a "predominantly anything" a segregated school?
No.

No.
Here's the definition: the action or state of setting someone or something apart from other people or things or being set apart.
The school districts set apart who goes to which school.

Is it because whites and blacks live in certain areas and therefore have to attend those schools that cater to their area?
If a black person wanted to attend a white school what would happen?
