    I had a pastor many years ago that told the church if they wanted to "discern" what was going on at TBN to just turn the volume off and watch their faces. I gotta say, it was eye opening. I pop in to check in on the crowd at TBN every few years and it's pretty clear that they either have an anointing too rebuke wrinkles and hair loss or they have some very good doctors.

    We can and should be rebuking this "virus", it's not a prophetic act, it's our job. We are to take authority over powers and principalities.

    We should also be praying for protection and wisdom in these perilous times. The deceiver is working over time.

We don't have authority over every disease that attacks every person on the planet. We only have authority over sickness when it comes against us. Jesus didn't stop the tower of Siloam from falling and killing 30 men, or Pilate's slaughter of the worshippers, but He did rebuke the wind and waves that threatened Him and His disciples. If people are still dying from the virus in the fall I'd say Copeland was off. That wouldn't mean that he's a heretic, or that he's not saved. It would just mean that he's not reliable when it comes to prophesying.
    Jesus went about destroying the works of the enemy. He commanded us to do the same.

    We must come to understand AUTHORITY. God created the Earth and gave all authority on it to Adam. Adam then gave it over to satan through the commission of sin. Jesus took it back and then gave it to His disciples.
    Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
    What the enemy fears most is a saint who actually understands the authority that has been given to them by Jesus.

    I agree but taking authority, declaring, decreeing and commanding can ALSO include one, or several, prophetic acts. It's not one or the other.

    Not arguing that we have authority, but nobody exercised that authority more than Jesus so He should probably be our model. Did Jesus totally eradicate sickness from the face of the earth? No. Did He stop every tragedy? No. Did He rebuke every storm on the planet? No. For the most part He only healed people who came to Him in faith. It's presumptuous of us to think that we can exercise faith beyond our sphere of influence. Kenneth Hagin used to tell the story of somebody calling him to tell him that Mt. St. Helens had erupted. He said "why are you calling me?" They said "well, you're the prophet of God!" He said "I can't do anything about Mt. St. Helens!" He understood the limitations to his authority. He walked in health and kept his family walking in health until they were at a point where they had to exercise their own faith for their own needs. He got people in his church healed, although at times it took awhile to get the Word into them. That was his sphere of influence. He didn't stop every disease on Earth, in the US, in his state, or even in his city. We have to learn the difference between faith and presumptuousness.

    Are you a fan of Jesus? He did it. Asking for a friend.
    When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

    He did tell us to do greater works than he did. But we can't take authority over other human beings any way we want, nor can we cast the devil out of this world, you're right about that.

    Anyone believe in eating in the Spirit? I just ate a delicious meal and I felt like I was in Heavenly places with every bite!

    I took authority over that steak!

    Ps 63:5 (Message Bible)

    I eat my fill of prime rib and gravy;
    I smack my lips. It's time to shout praises!

    Perfectly scriptural.
