I'm glad you responded. Thank you
So you're ok with the blowing part too?

I didn't watch the video, but I've seen lots of preachers, speakers, teachers blow on people or into the air as a "prophetic act". It's supposed to mean something in the spiritual realm .... I've seen many and taken part in many prophetic acts, like sprinkling salt or walking a property and pouring olive oil .... it's a prophetic act, done out of obedience, in my experience. God desires obedience, even when we feel foolish doing it.

Didn't even think anything about it. He did look a little wild-eyed and crazy though.

I'm not a fan of that sort of thing no matter who's doing it.

Yea, I get that. I grew up in a prophetic culture, so thinking back, a lot of things that happened growing up would probably scoffed at on social media. I have not seen blowing outside of Benny Hinn, but I'm not against as you well stated "prophetic acts". Thanks for your input AJ.

I've witnessed some pretty wild stuff so I'm a little immune I've seen people do cartwheels "in the spirit " make animal noises, I was at one church playing the keyboard and several of them ran out into the lobby. I thought there was perhaps an emergency. They all came out with brooms and was supposedly sweeping the devil out I could tell more but it's just too much.
a few things in some charismatic circles are different, edgy, I'm not quite sure of? As I said to AJ I'm not too accustomed to blowing, but I'm not opposed to unique manifestations. There's a lot of things in the Bible that seem foolish to the natural mind, but God was in it.
I think true revival stirs up the spirit world, draws out the crazies, people that just want attention, fleshly or emotional outburst and even the demonic. But we can't fear that or we will turn into what most churches have ended up being and that's nothing but dry bones. There's a balance and someone has to have the spiritual authority to correct some things even openly.

The only thing that really matters is what the Bible says. There's nothing in the Bible against blowing on people. Jesus breathed on His disciples and told them to receive the Holy Spirit. If the virus disappears anytime soon maybe we can attribute it to Copeland's faith, but I'm guessing that the virus will be around for awhile. We don't have authority over every disease that attacks every person on the planet. We only have authority over sickness when it comes against us. Jesus didn't stop the tower of Siloam from falling and killing 30 men, or Pilate's slaughter of the worshippers, but He did rebuke the wind and waves that threatened Him and His disciples. If people are still dying from the virus in the fall I'd say Copeland was off. That wouldn't mean that he's a heretic, or that he's not saved. It would just mean that he's not reliable when it comes to prophesying.

Noone is reliable when it comes to prophesying, that's why we should test everything. Including by listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit ourselves, for confirmation. When someone one likes prophesies something that one wishes would happen then it's easy to simply believe that the prophecy is true.
