Bethel Worship leader's child dies: they are believing for resurrection
I first heard about this on Instagram...there is also a GoFundMe page for the family...
Bethel Singer's Infant Daughter Pronounced Dead by Doctors: 'Praying for a Miracle' | CBN News
Bethel worship leader Kalley Heiligenthal has called upon the global church to pray for her young daughter, Olive, who died over the weekend.
Heiligenthal and her husband, Andrew, are believing that their daughter can be raised back to life by the power of Jesus Christ, and are asking brothers and sisters in the faith to join with them in praying for a miracle.
"We're asking for prayer. We believe in a Jesus who died and conclusively defeated every grave, holding the keys to resurrection power," Kalley wrote, noting that Olive had been "been pronounced dead by doctors" on Saturday after she stopped breathing.
"We are asking for bold, unified prayers from the global church to stand with us in belief that He will raise this little girl back to life," the heartbroken mother added. "Her time here is not done, and it is our time to believe boldly, and with confidence wield what King Jesus paid for. It's time for her to come to life."
Bethel's Jen Johnson and Dominic Shahbon shared videos on Instagram of Kalley herself leading worship on Sunday. The astonishing footage shows Heiligenthal boldly declaring that God will revive her daughter, with the church passionately echoing her cry for the Holy Spirit to move:
Kalley can be seen running across the stage and declaring a line from worship song "Way Maker."
"Even when I don't see it, you're working," she shouts. "And even when I don't feel it, you're working. You never stop, you never stop working."
"THIS. IS. WORSHIP. In awe," wrote Hillsong's Brooke Ligertwood of Kalley's phenomenal declaration of faith amid such a crushing tragedy.
At the time of writing, Kalley's post has garnered almost 13,000 comments, most of which are prayers of declaration for Olive to come to breathe again. "Declaring resurrection life," wrote fellow Bethel worship leader, Brian Johnson.
"With you my friend and Absolutely praying for a miracle," declared Hillsong's Jonathon Douglass. "Praying kalley..warring. In JESUS NAME," noted singer Kari Jobe.
"Kalley – the Barretts are praying. Jesus help," added "Housefires" worship leader, Pat Barrett.
There is currently no update on Olive's condition but we will keep you informed with any new information as it comes to light. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help the family at this difficult time. You can donate here.
Do continue to pray alongside the Helingathal family.

This actually happened about 3 or 4 days ago. I've been following it on Instagram. I haven't seen an update from Bill Johnson's daughter in law since yesterday. Jenn said she stopped breathing but she didn't give any context for it.

I think Olive passed on December 14th or thereabout. Not trying to speak doubt but I would be interested in finding out what made her stop breathing... only two years old.... so sad for her family.
My question though is: is this whole situation a matter of "God's will being done and us humans are not understanding it somehow, or is this all a test of faith? Regardless, the family and Bethel Church needs our prayers and love.❤️

I saw this on the christian news post and there are some troubling questions
Firstly why have a Go fund me if they are believing for a resurrection - what happens to this money?
The mother said the 3rd day is a great day for a resurrection then when it didn't happen she said the 4th day is a great day for a resurrection now its the 5th day....she is in grief and denial and needs help, this is only aggravating the problem
I read some of the comments by some well meaning believers... they are not full of faith some are delusional and making foolish and even false comments but when you use the scriptures you can say anything in the name of God
This is totally based around emotion and hype and the leaders need to step in and bring closure and healing
Not one person had a active living word from God ...it was based on wishful desires and emotions running wild - what happens when deliverers realise their words were just hype and are proven wrong. The faith of many will be shaken
Sorry to speak like this but the mother and family need alot of support and compassion ...the church needs godly wisdom and balance how to navigate through this. How will the church respond if the family have a breakdown??????????????
How is the world viewing this...the babies body is in the morgue ...who checks to see if she is resurrected
I believe in resurrection power but the way it is being dealt with is not from the Holy Spirit
Yes even a great church like Bethel can get it wrong and this is one of those times but its very serious and to many the behavior may look faith inspired but
its the flesh trying to force a resurrection
Lets be honest ...how many days do you wait 6, 7 8, 9, 10 before someone steps in to put a stop which eventually must happen
What then becomes of all the believers 'faith inspired words'?

I was wanting to be careful/cautious in my posting this...the whole situation needs to be bathed in prayer..I agree CT, the senior leadership should be speaking to/pastoring/counseling the family and the church throughout this ordeal. I hope they are.

Well, they said 'by now Lazarus stinketh', so even decomposition isn't too late. :)

Sorry to say this but believers can be very emotional and undiscerning.
There are comments that children and others have been brought back to life so it should happen with this baby
Christians then say God brought back my loved one in a coma, or they died by drowning and resuscitated or were on life support and died but resuscitated.
All of these are wonderful healings by God but they are not resurrections and cannot be compared to this child lying dead for days in a morgue
My niece was in a massive accident and kept alive through life support and in danger of brain damage...people prayed and she came out alive with no brain damage
But it wasn't a resurrection
Not trying to be a doubter but we must be real and deal with truth. Expect miracles but be discerning as well

IMO they have failed already to properly pastor this....Just because its big names like Bethel doesn't give them a pass

Fuego honestly how long would you tell the mother to wait
This is a great danger of a total mental breakdown for her if this isn't handled wisely
So far there hasn't been one person who has received a living active word of resurrection faith
