I have been unconvinced about this from my first reading but if Bethel believes a resurrection is possible then it also needs some practicalities.
When Jesus raised Lazarus he also was practical. Jesus physically went to the grave site and he also told the people to remove the stone first

That is why I mentioned previously that someone has to still go to the morgue and do something tangible.
How does a child rise when its locked in a freezer (sorry for the way that sounds)
The people at Bethel may have a plan in place but it hasn't been mentioned publicly from what I have read

The concern is still with the parents on how long they can endure

I agree with what you've said, even though I posted for the child to arise from the dead. Each saint's prayer counts. But ... there needs to be action in the prayers.

There's a story from Reinhardt Bonke's ministry where a woman brought her husband to a meeting where Bonke was speaking. Security would only let them in the area under the stage as the husband was already embalmed and in his coffin. He was resurrected.

So it does happen after longer periods of time and even after embalming, but action needs to be taken.

David Hogan has some pretty incredible stories of the dead being resurrected, but also, action needs to be taken. If I remember the story correctly, he even died and his wife called him back to life. Such an interesting man and ministry.

    Update from Instagram:

Since learning the news of two-year old Olive Heiligenthal's sudden death, we have sought a miracle from God to raise her from the dead. We realize this is out of the norm, but that's what a miracle is—it's outside the box of nature and our power. As the Bible testifies, God is the God of the reasonable & possible, as well as the God of the unreasonable & impossible.

In this process, we have been asking God to fulfill our hearts desire to see His kingdom manifested in great power. When you are a friend of God and know that He is your heavenly Father, you trust Him and ask for big, outlandish miracles. As a church, we have been contending for, singing about, and witnessing God's power to save, heal, and deliver for over fifty years. It is normal for us to ask for things, trust Him, and then glorify His name regardless of the outcome. This is what life with the King is all about.

In this situation, grief has not been avoided, as we have all been grieving from the moment we heard the news. Faith isn't denial of the facts or of our emotions, it is knowing that God cares and intervenes in the midst of them. Here is where we are: Olive hasn't been raised. The breakthrough we have sought hasn't come. With the same heart of confidence in God's goodness, we receive the comfort of the Good Shepherd as Andrew, Kalley, and Olive's big sister Elsie, their family, and our church walk together through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23). And so, we are moving towards a memorial service and celebration of her life.

Our community is being deeply impacted by the tragedy of Olive's death. As we have gone through this difficult time, we are grateful to see that faith, hope, and love have been the response. The Lord wastes nothing. He will bring beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3). The joy of our faith is that, though we haven't seen the miracle of Olive being raised, she is alive in the presence of God. Her mom and dad will see her again, and we too will join her in resurrection one day. Believers know that heaven is full of homecomings, reunions, celebration, worship, and joy. He is good, all the time.

Thank you for your continued prayers for the Heiligenthal family.

It's very sad reading the above knowing the pain the family is going through in losing a child and the final realisation that on this earth she is gone. Thankfully she is in the arms of Jesus.
Fortunately they belong to a good church that will uphold them and bring comfort and healing.

My mind still wonders why there is no mention of praying for the child at the morgue. It's quite possible that it has already happened but no mention has been made.

God is good and his mercy endures forever

I cannot imagine the pain of losing a little one.

The closest we got to this was when our 30 year old son called us in tears saying he was on his way to ER from work with chest pains. Thank God all was well but for a moment he gave us all a fright.

The little one is now in heaven. It was far worse in our church a few years back when someone's rebellious unsaved teenager suddenly committed suicide, that devastated the parents.

I had heard or read that they had gone to the morgue to lay hands on the child.

'She is Alive in the Presence of God': Family Moving Toward Memorial Service for 2-Year-Old

A post on Bethel Church's Instagram page announced that the family of Olive Heiligenthal, who had been praying for resurrection after their 2-year-old daughter suddenly passed away days ago, is now "moving towards a memorial service."

Despite the continued prayers of the family, Bethel Church, and believers worldwide, the miracle they were hoping for has not happened.

The following update was shared on Bethel's Instagram page:

"Olive hasn't been raised. The breakthrough we have sought hasn't come. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

    Well written.

I often tell people that but by the grace of God, I would be childless and a widow.

Rog had a go at bleeding ulcers (he was passing out from blood loss by the time he went to the hospital) and a mitral valve repair open heart heart surgery. Had it not been discovered and repaired, heart failure was in his future.

Our daughter experienced a full cardiac arrest @36 and had she not been in a group of women where 2 of them knew how to do CPR, she would be with Jesus right now, leaving 2toddlers(at the time) motherless. The EMTs used the paddles 4 times and she coded Sevrral more times in the ER. She now lives with an ICD in her chest and she had the same mitral valve repair surgery Rog had, a year and a half after her cardiac arrest. The drs are still undecided as to whether the 2 things were related.

Older son and middle child attempted suicide while going through a dark time. Hes doing ok now... with the same woman for 10 years and they're expecting their first child after several miscarriages and thinking they'd never be parents. Although not married or serving the Lord, they're calling this child their "miracle baby."

Third child and younger son was in a very serious motorcycle accident when he was 24. Ruptured diaphragm, jaw broken in 2 places, fractured sternum and multiple broken bones.

Oh, this thing called life. Interesting that the enemy would work so hard at destroying our family.

Just 2 years ago my wife and I were awakened in the middle of the night to go sit with a couple from our church. We arrived in the ER to see them next to their dead son that was found after hanging himself. That put the kabash on a merry Christmas for them. Rough funeral. I dont like those.
