Do you agree with Joel Osteen?

Do you agree with Joel Osteen about Heaven?

I hope he has somehow sprouted a backbone since then but I wont hold my breath. Osteen fears man and not God.

"But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one." 1Cor2:15

He issued an apology and a clarification of his position shortly after this botched interview. Joel Osteen Issues Apology - AlbertMohler.com

    Ok, I see it now.

I wonder if he ever preaches a come to Jesus, life changing message. He is pretty much just preaching to the choir. Perhaps it would be better for him to have a teaching ministry.

OK. I appreciate his apology. I don't watch is program often enough to know any more what he is teaching. My comment was based on the King clip.

I remember Joel issuing a clarification which is the right thing to do and applaud him.
The reason he got into this mess is due to pandering, not wanting to offend and presenting a half message about the gospel.
Joel was asked specifically on a national media show and he should be clear as a leader that the GOSPEL and the CROSS are offensive and not back down.
There is hope in the gospel but there is only one way through Christ

I continue to say concerning these types of things, when asked one's opinion of these things, always state that "...my opinion doesn't mean a thing. ..."But Gods' Word/the Bible/scripture says..." Or if just asked a direct question, "The Bible says..."

Or similar, "You have said..." "No, I didn't say that, the Bible says that..."
