Resident Chocolate Monster
Santa has always brought a couple of very small presents: candy, and a shirt or maybe a small toy, or books. I generally wrap the presents (not the candy) and put them in their stocking. I always use "special" paper so that no one will notice that the paper is the same. I had a few presents that were going to some children that weren't going to be at my Mom's for Christmas, so I thought it would be ok to use the reversible paper I had brought for "Santa." I wasn't paying attention to the fact that my daughter came in several times while I was wrapping the other children's presents. She knew they weren't hers, so she wasn't overly interested. siiiiiiigh, big mistake. She opened up her present from Santa, looked at the reverse side of the paper, and said, "Did you wrap this Momma?" She's too stinking smart sometimes.

Our grandson is starting to suspect about Santa, but he went to bed early to be on the safe side.
