Santa has always played a very minor role in our house. He "brings" a stocking with some candy in it, and usually only 1 or 2 very small presents. The "big" gifts come from me. Everything I've read about Saint Nick states that he was a generous man trying to help out some needy children. I don't mind keeping that same attitude alive in my family.
