    Boo!!!

So why do some people enjoy being scared? Horror movies, Halloween, ghost hunting and other things that scare them silly...they love it.

Because it’s temporary. The horror is entertainment. I cant watch stuff like that without it affecting my spirit/soul.

Ditto! - I stopped watching horror and demonic-type movies and TV after I became a "Born-Again"

I don't think it's the same thing as roller coaster "scary"

I, personally, don't get it. I put this stuff in the same category of the horrible "scary" people to laugh. I hate those too.

    A little late but...
I took my wife to Knotts Scary farm about 20 years ago. She was cool with it until she got into a dark maze, where ugly monster faces would jump out with sudden light flashes.
That positively terrified her and we had to leave.

It brought back a childhood memory where she went to a neighbor's house whose face was disfigured in the war. The person stayed in a dark room and when he came out of the shadows...

Agree. Before I made Jesus Lord of my life, I owned every Stephen King book he's written... horror and occult were my favorite genre.

However, after I got rid of those demons, I just can't even go there...
