This is exactly what frustrates me with a lot of these people, but I NEVER expected PASTIRS to lose their backbone and feel like they have to justify their actions. If you are going to do something that you believe God has led you to do then do it with NO apologies. If you have to apologize to people then you fear man more than God.

There are so many scriptures pastors about walking in love, etc, that they can come up with to back what they're doing. Just put them out there and let the chips fall where they may.

Problem is some are in debt and need to make sure they keep the sheep happy...that's the problem with some 'ministry' concepts...it chains the pastors to the point they have to ask themselves, the truth or my pay check?

In other words, the pastors themselves are all politicians too. Their ultimate allegiance isn't to Jesus.

Right, I think a major scripture that ministers must live by is to be "ministers of RECONCILIATION", and "walking in PEACE with all men". No apologies needed for following God's Word on this issue. Their first "representative" affiliation is that if Christ; others are secondary.
