Thread: Paula White and "First Fruits"

    Paula White and "First Fruits"

"God claims the FIRST of ALL THINGS! It rightfully belongs to Him. When we apply the Principle of First Fruits, we see that all firsts should be given to the Lord: the first of the day, week (Sabbath), month, and the first of our harvest — be it the wages for the first day, week, or the month," she explains.

White, who also serves as President Donald Trump's spiritual adviser, lays out in detail on her website how the principle of first fruits "supernaturally unlocks amazing opportunity, blessing, favor and divine order for your life" and how God requires His people to honor it.

"It is the basis or underlying support for your success in 2018. It is GOD'S PRINCIPLE OF FIRST FRUITS. All Firsts belong to God. When you honor this principle it provides the foundation and structure for God's blessings and promises in your life, it unlocks deep dimensions of spiritual truths that literally transform your life! When you apply this everything comes in divine alignment for His plan and promises for you. When you don't honor it, whether through ignorance or direct disobedience there are consequences," White warns.
    Manipulative much??

I guess the question is, does God require a first fruit offering at the beginning of the year?

Apparently in Paula's church He does.....I saw on the same site a few weeks ago that attendance and giving are down at her church due to her support of Trump.

I've only seen her when I stumbled on her passing through channels. (and we haven't had a tv for near 8 years now.. so that tells you how long ago)
but, even that little exposure left me knowing something was *off*

I hope Trump grows up a bit and finds better advisors.

    Question

Whether it's first fruits, the tithe, or freewill offerings; the Law of sowing and reaping, seedtime harvest, and receiving the hundredfold return, according to Mark 10:29-30 are still part of the Blessing Covenant God has with His people.

Paula may be teaching it wrong, I don't know, and won't speak on it. I just want God's people to prosper for a change so we can do what He called us to do so we can get up out of here, and go Home. ➕

I'm willing to bet money what you're talking about isn't manipulation for cash.

    I think she's a charlatan.

I don’t know enough about her. Never caught on to her preaching style. But I believe she’s saved.

Mark 10:29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s,
30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.

The context of the passage is the cost of taking up the faith, not the ministry of giving.

If the doctrine of "first fruits" were taught to the NT church, we would have a record of it in the epistles.
    We Don't.
