I doubt if those destiny cards are (or have been) a big element at Bethel. It's sufficient that they have let them do that at all for Bethel to get a lot of bad publicity. I'm more concerned that christalignment is bragging that they've had lots of Bethel graduates join them on the "mission field".

This is a good video...it does not renounce real manifestations but emphasizes the manifestations with absence of fruit....I agree to a point....but not fully...

"My guess is that those who condemned the use of “Destiny Cards” by the Christalignment ministry did not bother to fully investigate their strategy and fruit, or did not consider that Jesus, Paul, and Church Leaders throughout history have used the same types of strategies, and effectively preached the Gospel."

From the second link it sounds like she actually originated it...she describes it as part of her book...

I believe someone noted earlier that the founder was from Bethel...?If not directly she must be approving them as an offshoot birthed from her book...

If she is embracing them as one of the staff leadership, and Bethel leadership, other leadership is..well, there you go...

Just because Christalignment uses her concept doesn't mean that their actual content is what she intended. That may be precisely where Teresa Dedmon has been deceived. As I pointed out elsewhere there is nothing intrinsically wrong with showing people cards, they can be used merely as illustrations. Kind of like when Torben Søndergaard explains the gospel using cups and lemonade.

IMHO, this is much to do over nothing. I am more bothered by church members who are masons, and church members who take their kids to Harry Potter movies and buy those books for their kids to read.
